Dr. Paul Bush

Dr. Bush received his dental degree from New York University and completed a General Practice Residency at Goldwater Hospital in New York City. He has completed many hours of advanced training, including coursework at the Pankey Institute in Miami and the Kois Center for Restorative Excellence in Seattle.

Professionally, Dr. Bush is a member of:

  • Tolland County Dental Society

He was recognized as a "Top Dentist" in Connecticut Magazine. He has two daughters and one grandchild. His personal interests include travel, photography, biking and golf.


Dr. Bruce Tandy

Dr. Tandy received his D.M.D degree from Washington University in St. Louis following four years at the University of Rochester. Having completed a General Practice Residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Tandy began private practice in Vernon and Coventry, Connecticut where he continues to provide the highest quality of care for all ages today.

His academic pursuits include teaching at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and the Hartford Hospital General Practice Residency. As an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and American Dental Association, he has served in multiple leadership roles and is now a Past President of the state organization. He has completed advanced training at the Pankey Institute in Miami, FL and the Center for Restorative Excellence in Seattle, WA to help him provide the best care possible for all of his patients. Elected as a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists, honorary fellowships in the dental profession, he has also been recognized as a "Top Dentist" in Hartford Magazine.

His personal interests include travel, golf, wine, and organized dentistry. He is married with two children.


Dr. Paul Korus

Dr. Korus began his health care career when he graduated from SUNY Buffalo, School of Pharmacy. He went on to study at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD degree. Upon graduating in 1982, Dr. Korus completed a postgraduate residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, CT and joined Drs. Bush and Tandy in private practice in Coventry and Vernon, CT.

Dr. Korus has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, studying with many renowned dental institutions including The Pete Dawson Academy, The Pankey Institute, and the prestigious Kois Center for Advanced Dental Study. After years of study with Dr. John Kois in Seattle, WA, he became a mentor to dentists from around the world, studying the latest evidence-based procedures and technologies related to the practice of esthetic dentistry. Currently there are only two hundred dentists worldwide that are qualified to be in this group, with only two in the state of Connecticut.

He has served as president and treasurer of the Tolland County Dental Society for multiple years, has been a delegate to the Connecticut State Dental Association, and has served as chair of the Children's Dental Health Committee in Tolland County. He has been a clinical faculty preceptor at the University of CT School of Dental Medicine since 2008 and has taught at Hartford Hospitals' post-graduate training program since 2000. Dr. Korus has received recognition as Hartford Magazines "Top Dentist" and inclusion in "Americas Top Dentists."

Besides dentistry, Dr. Korus's interests include tennis, golf, biking, and spending time with his wife and two children.


Dr. Eric Whidden

Dr. Whidden grew up in Ellington, Connecticut where he developed a very early interest in dentistry and dental esthetics. He completed a pre-medical course of study at Connecticut College, graduating with high honors and awards for academic excellence and community service. He has also won numerous Connecticut State Science awards for his innovative research in oral health. He then attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where he was class president and active in many leadership and volunteer activities.

Dr. Whidden has received numerous honors and scholarships including the Elizabeth and Eugene C. Harrison Scholarship, Edmund J. Glen Fund Scholarship, American Dental Association Award of Excellence, Dentsply Award for Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, and the International College of Dentists Scholar Leader Award.

He graduated #1 in his class with Dean's High Honors and was one of fifty doctors nationwide to be inducted into the elite Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honors Society Supreme Chapter ? the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a dental graduate.

Dr. Whidden has trained with nationally and internationally renowned cosmetic specialists at elite cosmetic dentistry centers including The Pankey Institute in Florida, The Spear Center for Cosmetics in Arizona, The Dawson Academy in Maryland, and The Kois Center in Washington, and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in the areas of dental esthetics.
