Your Denture Options

Our Vernon and Coventry, CT, dentistry offices have options for every need when it comes to dentures. Our traditional dentures and implant-supported dentures look natural, function effectively, and feel like your natural teeth.

Full Dentures

Full Dentures

Full dentures can replace a complete set of missing teeth. Drs. Hadden and Whidden combine their experience, skill, and partnerships with award-winning dental labs to provide their patients with the highest quality removable appliances available.

Partial Denture

Partial Dentures

Similar to complete dentures, partial dentures are removable appliances. They are ideal for patients with missing teeth but still have a natural tooth or a few natural teeth they'd like to keep.

Implant-supported denture

Implant-Supported Dentures

For extra stability and jaw stimulation, implant-supported dentures are a great investment. Unlike traditional dentures, dentures placed with dental implants aren't removable.

Take a Closer Look at Implant-Supported Dentures

Dental implants are a permanent solution for rebuilding your smile. While the denture restorations won't last a lifetime, the implant placed in your jaw is permanent. Our dentistry office can care for any restoration repairs.

Over the years, the construction and fabrication processes for cosmetic dentures have advanced significantly, allowing for appliances that look and fit better.

Maintaining Your Dentures Aftercare Tips

Once you have your dentures and dental implants, it's important to maintain them with good practices to ensure their longevity.

Regular Oral Hygiene

Continue regularly brushing your teeth twice a day. Use a soft-bristle brush to avoid scratching and damaging the denture restoration.

Properly Store Dentures

If you choose traditional dentures, safely store them in water or a cleaning solution at night or whenever you're not wearing the restoration.

Use an ADA® Approved Adhesive

Denture adhesives can help traditional dentures stay in place and not shift as you talk, eat, and go about your daily activities, but make sure it's ADA® approved.

Rinse After Meals

Clear out any food particles that may be trapped on your denture by rinsing them after meals. This is a best practice to maintain the integrity of your denture.

Maintain Check-ups

Continue to come into our office if you find your dentures aren't sitting comfortably. It's normal to need adjustments to your restoration over time.

"I thought the entire staff were caring. Dr. Whidden was very kind and explained everything every step of the way. His assistant Tracy was very nice and went over all the instructions with me. I felt very comfortable in their hands! I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for some great dental care." Kelley S
